Clear expectations protect the customer, the boat and the work.

These website policies describe general operating conditions. A written estimate, work order or parts quote may include additional terms for a specific request.

Requests and appointments

A website submission, text message or phone call is a request only. Service is not scheduled and a parts order is not accepted until Marine Werks confirms the scope, location, timing and applicable price.

Weather, emergencies and events beyond control

Marine Werks may delay, reschedule, suspend or cancel work when weather, lightning, wind, flooding, fire, natural disaster, public emergency, marina restriction, unsafe site conditions, transportation disruption, utility interruption, labor or material shortage, supplier delay, or another circumstance beyond reasonable control makes performance unsafe, impractical or unavailable. Marine Werks will communicate material scheduling changes when reasonably possible.

Right to decline or stop work

Marine Werks may decline a request or stop work when the requested service is outside its capabilities, the vessel or site is unsafe or inaccessible, required information is missing, authorization is unclear, parts or equipment are unavailable, the customer requests unlawful or unsafe work, payment terms are not satisfied, or continuing would create unreasonable risk to people, property or the vessel. The customer remains responsible for authorized work and approved materials already provided, subject to applicable law and the specific written agreement.

Site access and customer responsibilities

The customer is responsible for providing lawful access to the boat and work area, disclosing known hazards and relevant conditions, securing required marina or property permission, and providing accurate vessel, engine, serial-number and service information. Pets, people and movable property should remain clear of the work area.

Parts, availability and substitutions

Parts availability, pricing and lead times may change until an order is confirmed. Marine Werks will not knowingly substitute a materially different part without customer approval. Special-order, electrical and installed parts may have return limitations disclosed before purchase when applicable.

Estimates and changed conditions

Estimates are based on the information and conditions reasonably available at the time. Hidden damage, corrosion, prior modifications, incorrect identification, restricted access or newly discovered conditions may require a revised scope and customer approval before additional work proceeds.

Consumer rights

Nothing on this page is intended to waive rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be waived. If a specific written agreement conflicts with these general website policies, the specific agreement controls to the extent permitted by law.
